Archive Reporting Sub-System The Archive Reporting Sub-System allows access to the records in DMS's archive tables without having to retrieve those records (can view and edit records, search, re-print reports/sales invoices/mailing labels, etc.). Auction Sales The Auction Sales module is similiar to the Point of Sale module, but it allows you to sell item after item to the highest bidder. When an attendee of the auction decides to check-out, the software generates an invoice for the items they have purchased so far (using the same screens that you are familiar with in the Point of Sale module). Bar Code The Bar Code module is designed to print bar coded price tickets (code128, I2of5, 3of9 ) for items in the Inventory Control module. Custom Card Stock The Custom Card Stock module provides the ability to print the customer's address and your return address onto various size card stock (3x5 cards, 5x8 cards, envelopes, etc.). Filters can be used to identify specific groups of customers, dealers, etc. This module requires a printer capable of handling the size and weight of the card stock to be printed. Credit Card Verification The Credit Card Verification module provides the ability to: Capture the purchaser's credit card number and expiration date. Contact the card processor. Obtain an authorization code. Return that code to DMS. Print that information on the sales invoice generated by DMS. Have the customer sign the sales invoice. This module requires: Special credit card processing software (included). A magnetic card reader (included). A merchant account through CAM services (NOT included). A modem for contacting the card processing network (NOT included). Available only in the Windows version of DMS. Dealer Inquiry Sub-System the Dealer Inquiry Sub-System provides the ability to allow your dealers to view their, and only their, sales and to print reports and mailing labels. Their is a chargeback system so that, if you wish, you can charge the dealer whenever they access the DISS or print reports/mailing labels. Dealer-to-Dealer Commission The Dealer-to-Dealer Commission feature provides the ability to assign a special commission rate that the mall will charge (instead of the standard commission) when dealers buy items from other dealers within the mall. Export Dealer Sales Records The Export Dealer Sales Records module is a special module used to export your dealer's sales records and upload them to the internet so that the dealers can see what they've sold 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The EDSR module is a great service to provide to your dealers (and can be a money$$$ making opportunity for your mall). By providing your dealers the ability to view their current (and past) sales, your dealers can: Bring in similar items, which... increases not only their sales, but the sales of the mall as well. Save time (and perhaps long distance charges) because they don't have to visit, or call, the mall This also saves the mall time and money because your employees spend their time with customers instead of dealers. Monetary Conversion Table The Monetary Conversion Table is a special module used by importers to convert the non-dollar purchase price of items added to inventory into dollars. This module requires pre-defined codes to be keyed as an item is entered into inventory. The module then translates the purchase amount into dollars, computes 300%, 400%, and 500% markup prices (which can be changed) and places them into the description field. Non-Taxable Sales Classifications The Non-Taxable Sales Classifications feature separates non-taxable sales into different categories. DMS currently identifies the following 6 categories (we can customize the module to your needs): Sales to other Retailers for purposes of Resale. Non-Taxable Sales of Food Products. Non-Taxable labor (e.g., Appraisals). Sales to US Government. Sales in InterState or Foreign Commerce (e.g., EBAY, out-of-state sales). Other.
