German (Germany, Deutschland) 1974 World Champion FoosBall Five (5) Liter Beer Stein... You are bidding on a used, 5 liter beer stein. I acquired this beer stein from a place called "Club 63" back in 1974/1975 when I was TDY at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. This stein is over 40 years old!! The image on the stein is a decal of the 1974 German foosball champion team and is in very good shape. It is not faded, but is a little dusty. I won't clean it for fear of screwing something up. There is a small (1/8" by 3/16") chip on the rim above the yellow 74 (I can get a detailed photo if needed) and a number of cracks in the stoneware (or whatever it is made of), and... one can also see some cracking in the glaze. Also the handle, which can be seen in one of the additional photos broke off 30+ years ago. I have no idea of how many of these steins were manufactured, but there probably aren't many of them left after 40+ years. This just might be a fantastic find for some collector out there.
